Industrial Centrifuge for Oil Desludging: Disc Stack and Three-Phase Separation Technology for Removing Sludge, Water, and Solids from Lubricating and Transformer Oils

Home » News » Industrial Centrifuge for Oil Desludging: Disc Stack and Three-Phase Separation Technology for Removing Sludge, Water, and Solids from Lubricating and Transformer Oils

Industrial centrifuges apply centrifugal force 5,000-12,000 times gravity to separate solids, water, and oil fractions in a continuous process. For lubricating oil and transformer oil purification, disc stack centrifuges achieve particulate removal down to 1 micron and free water removal below 100 ppm—without consumable filter elements.

Disc Stack Technology

Disc stack centrifuges use a stack of conical discs rotating at 7,000-12,000 RPM that create thin settling layers where dense particles travel outward while clean oil flows inward. Three-phase centrifuges separate oil, water, and sludge simultaneously with separate discharge ports for each phase.

Transformer Oil Desludging

For transformer oil, centrifuge desludging removes carbon particles, metal wear debris, and fiber contamination. The Double Stage Vacuum Oil Purifier complements centrifuge desludging with vacuum dehydration for dissolved water removal.

Integrated Oil Management

The Oil Filter Press provides alternative filtration. The Hydraulic Oil Filter Press cleans hydraulic systems. The Oil Regeneration System chemically restores oil after mechanical cleaning. Oil Testing verifies post-centrifuge oil quality.
