SCYC-PWTM2304 passive wireless online temperature monitoring device uses high-voltage electric field induction power supply for real-time temperature detection of high-voltage transmission lines, conductor plates and substations, featuring maintenance-free, high isolation and stable digital transmission.
SCYC-PWTM2304 is a passive wireless online temperature monitoring system designed for high-voltage transmission lines, conductor plates, tension clamps, and AC/DC substations. Powered by high-voltage electric field induction power extraction (no batteries, no CT current dependency), it enables real-time, contactless, high-isolation temperature measurement for critical power equipment.
The system integrates passive temperature sensors, data receivers/forwarders, and cloud communication. It supports 2.4GHz RF digital transmission, unique sensor ID recognition, long-distance communication, and high anti-interference performance. With a measurement range of -30℃ to 135℃, accuracy of ±(standard reading ×1% +1℃), and 0.1℃ resolution, it delivers stable, maintenance-free operation for lifetime use.
Ideal for 35kV–1000kV transmission lines, railway traction substations, grid substations, and converter stations, it provides real-time anomaly alarms, remote cloud monitoring, and automated early warning to prevent overheating failures, reduce manual inspection, and improve power system safety and reliability.
This system is based on high-voltage electric field induction power extraction. This power extraction method differs from the current-induction CT power extraction method. Current-induction CTs require current in the power extraction line; if there is no current or the current is too low, power cannot be extracted, and the equipment cannot operate. High-voltage electric field induction power extraction does not require current; only a high voltage is needed. Its working principle is shown in the figure.The monitoring system consists of temperature sensors, data receiving and forwarding devices, and a communication system.
